Young trend labels at fashionette

Lots of trendy newcomers from the fashion hotspots of this world have found their way into our bag wardrobe!

fashionette now has the latest styles from Bella Italia including labels such as SALAR, Pinko and Serapian Milano - finest leather craftsmanship, ultramodern interpretation - as well as vibrant designs from swinging London by young designer Sophia Webster and women's favourite Ted Baker.

Scene labels like the Berlin brand Agneel and the New York design up-and-comer Mansur Gavriel round off our exclusive selection of newcomers with a touch of clean urban chic - have fun discovering!

Giancarlo Petriglia

Luxury has a face

Giancarlo Petriglia – an extravagant and promising-sounding name. But who or what is behind fashionette's new discovery from Bella Italia?

Here’s the low down: Characteristic bag designs that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern shapes and provocative charm! Giancarlo Petriglia, who previously worked as artistic director in the design department at Trussardi, gives his luxurious bags a face with an unmistakable touch – in the truest sense of the word.

At least as significant as the designs themselves: His logo, consisting of two mythical creatures regarded as the guardians of gold and the most precious things on earth, reflects Giancarlo's vision of luxury and the brand DNA that has been in existence since 2012.

A snob at heart

Behind the name Le Snob is a real power duo from the fashion scene: Stylist Bea Åkerlund, who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Madonna, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, and creative director Robert Lussier, who has worked for numerous fashion and cosmetics brands in the luxury segment.

Since the launch of their accessories line in 2015, Le Snob's bags have been much sought-after, especially among scene connoisseurs. High-quality leather, modern shapes and refined details define this young luxury label's wearable works of art. It goes without saying that the newcomer brand deserves a place in the fashionette assortment - after all, we bag lovers are all secretly a little bit "snobby" at heart... ;-)

Nadine Eismann

The New German Fräuleinwunder

To start the new year, fashionette has found a red hot newcomer label for you: The bags from Nadine Eismann are absolutely outstanding, completely handmade and 100% made in Germany!

The name Nadine Eismann stands for extravagance and perfection, which she has been creatively expressing as a young entrepreneur since February 2016, with her traditionally hand-crafted range of fine bags. The young designer designs and creates all of her own styles in her workshop in Stuttgart, using exclusively vegetable-tanned leather and high-quality materials from Italy and Belgium - we like!

By the way: Nadine caused a sensation with her "La Maravilla Enmascarada" accessory collection, inspired by Mexican wrestling, with which she completed her design studies at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences in 2015; she was one of ten finalists for the "International Talent Support" competition and also won the PREMIUM Young Designers Award.

Ted Baker

Sooo ladylike!

New arrival at fashionette: Ted Baker – a label celebrated for its ultra-feminine must-have looks with playful retro charm.

The brand, established in Glasgow in 1987 by CEO Ray Kelvin, boasts a bag collection with an exciting mix of fifties pastel flair, playful ribbon details and pointed style elements – girly and nostalgic, but by no means outdated. No wonder even tough celebrities like Taylor Swift and Miranda Kerr have fallen for the styles of Ted Baker!

A real hype has developed around the London brand this year – and that's despite the fact that Ted Baker is one of the only designer labels without an advertising campaign...

Bags by JW Anderson

JW Anderson – behind that name is none other than the Northern Irish Jonathan William Anderson, who burst on to the scene with his first collection at London Fashion Week in 2008, as one of the most controversial, yet trendsetting designers on show; he presented, among other things, transparent jewels with insects incorporated inside them.

The androgynous collection made by the 33 year old made the division between the sexes virtually disappear. His fashion is so innovative, that he has already won numerous design awards. In September 2013, LVMH purchased a majority of the shares in the JW Anderson brand, and gave Anderson (additionally) the creative direction of the Loewe brand.

It is no wonder then, that the bags by JW Anderson are so popular. Styles like the legendary Pierce Bag from the streets of the biggest fashion capitals are absolute must-haves – the most beautiful models can be found here at fashionette...

From London with love

Sophia Webster is a rising star in the British accessories sky: The 32 year old newcomer founded her label right after she graduated from the Royal College of Art. Since the launch of her debut collection in 2013, Sophia has already got numerous awards under her belt for her striking creations. It’s no surprise – after all, her creations are full of love and passion! The Brit draws out her various designs by hand, and the same goes for the beautiful butterflies, which not only function as delicate appliqués on the bags, but also flutter around in our stomach...
